About

Recognition worth earning

Most of the accessibility industry sells fear. Your website has problems. You're at legal risk. Contact sales. We think that's backwards.

Uplift Accredited is built on the opposite idea: that organizations want to earn something meaningful, not just avoid a threat. We help organizations demonstrate a real commitment to digital accessibility — and, when the recognition program launches, recognize them for it, publicly and credibly.

What we believe

Transparency over trust-me

We publish our full methodology — what it covers and what it can't. A recognition program is only as meaningful as what it's willing to say out loud.

Honesty over hype

We disclose that automated testing catches only part of the picture. We don't sell overlay widgets. We don't promise legal compliance we can't deliver.

A standing that means something

The recognition will expire, renew, and be losable. A badge that can never be lost isn't worth displaying.

Who runs the program

Uplift Accredited is an independent accessibility program built and operated by Lucas Zelko, its founder. It isn't a government agency, and the recognition — launching soon — won't be a government certification or a guarantee of legal compliance. See our published standards for exactly what the standing does and does not represent.

The work is split honestly: we build and run the assessment engine that produces the evidence — the scans, the structured review, the findings reports. Organizations that need to fix what we find may do so themselves, with their own developers, or with any vendor they choose. One of those vendors is ClearPath Access, our disclosed remediation partner. That relationship is stated plainly wherever it's relevant, and it never changes how an assessment is judged — a site meets the standard or it doesn't, whoever did the work.

The assessment and findings report are free. We don't sell an outcome, and there's nothing to buy to find out where your site stands.

Start with the evidence

A free findings report is the honest place to begin — the real issues on your site, with nothing to buy to see them.
