Federal rules now require Wyoming's public entities and federally-funded providers to bring their websites, mobile apps, and digital documents to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. Public entities (ADA Title II)
State and local government and public education. Deadlines: April 26, 2027 (population 50,000+) or April 26, 2028 (under 50,000 and special districts).
Federally-funded healthcare & services (HHS Section 504)
Providers receiving federal funding. Deadlines: May 11, 2027 (15+ employees) or May 10, 2028 (fewer than 15).
